The land at St. John’s Walk is being auctioned next week at a guide price of up to A[pounds sterling]400,000.
Train operator First Capital connect pays A[pounds sterling]25,000 a year to rent the land and has an option to extend the lease until 2013.
Andy Tyler, Secretsary of the Fen Line Users Association, said: “Car parking is a big issue at King’s Lynn station.
“The 96-space overspill car park there has been in great demand since opening in February 2006.
“Government-owned British Rail (Residuary) Ltd owns the overspill car park and has put this into a London residential property auction for December 15.
“Network Rail has been negotiating to buy the land and transferring the land to Network Rail could accommodate ever growing passenger parking needs
